# Admission Inquiries

Admission inquiries are used to record interested families before they become students.

## Step-by-step guide

1. Go to **Admissions > Admission Inquiries**.
2. Select **Add First Inquiry** or add a new inquiry from the page action.
3. Enter **Student Name**, **Guardian Name**, **Phone Number**, and **Target Class**.
4. Select **Save Inquiry**.
5. Review inquiries in the Admission CRM list.

## What SmartAcademy does in the background

The backend saves the inquiry under your organization and records the inquiry creation in audit logs.

## Tips

- Use the target class so the admission team can filter and plan capacity.
- Keep guardian phone numbers accurate because they may be reused during enrollment.
