# WhatsDiscuss Integration

WhatsDiscuss integration connects SmartAcademy communication features to WhatsApp capabilities.

## Step-by-step guide

1. Go to **Integrations > WhatsDiscuss**.
2. Select **Connect WhatsDiscuss**.
3. Complete the connection flow or enter the requested account details.
4. After connection, review WABA ID and account ID when displayed.
5. Use **Reconnect Account** if credentials need to be replaced.
6. Run a health check if available.

## What SmartAcademy does in the background

The backend stores WhatsDiscuss credentials for your organization, verifies health when requested, and uses the connection for WhatsApp profiles and automated fee reminders.

## Tips

- Connect WhatsDiscuss before using WhatsApp Profiles.
- Make sure guardian WhatsApp numbers are correct for reminders.
