# Configuring Notification Preferences

SmartCarePlus allows users to manage their **notification preferences** using toggle switches. By enabling or disabling specific notifications, you can stay informed without unnecessary alerts.  

## ⚙️ Accessing Notification Settings  

1. Open **Settings** by navigating to the **drawer menu** and tapping on **Settings** at the bottom.  
2. Select **Notifications** to open the notification preferences screen.  

## 📩 Managing Notification Preferences  

Each notification option is displayed as a **tile with a switch widget**, allowing you to turn notifications **on or off** as needed. The available options depend on your account type:  

- **Chat Notifications** (All Users) – Toggle this switch to enable or disable notifications for messages and conversations.  
- **New Orders** (Pharmacy Only) – Turn this on to receive alerts when a new order is placed.  
- **Order Updates** (Pharmacy & Patients) – Enable this to get notified when an order status changes or updates.
