# Registering for a WhatsDiscuss Account

Follow these steps to create a WhatsDiscuss account and start managing your business communications.

### Step-by-Step Guide:

1. **Access WhatsDiscuss**  
   Open WhatsDiscuss on your Android device or any web browser. For detailed instructions, see [Accessing WhatsDiscuss](/whatsdiscuss-platform/how-to-guides/accessing-whatsdiscuss).

2. **Start Registration**  
   On the login screen, tap **"Register Now"** to open the registration form.

3. **Enter a Username**  
   Choose a username for internal use within WhatsDiscuss. This username will not be visible to your customers.

4. **Enter Your WhatsApp Number**  
   - Provide the WhatsApp number linked to your **personal WhatsApp Messenger** or **WhatsApp Business app**.  
   - **Important:** Do not use a number registered with a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) or which you would like to use for a WABA in the future.

5. **Create a Password**  
   Set a secure password that you’ll use to log in to WhatsDiscuss.

6. **Send OTP**  
   Tap **"Register"** to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your WhatsApp number.

7. **Verify OTP**  
   Enter the OTP you received. If it doesn’t arrive, use the **"Resend Code"** option.

8. **Complete Verification**  
   Tap **"Verify"** to confirm your OTP. Once verified, you’ll be redirected to your dashboard.

9. **Access Your Dashboard and Activate Free Trial**

### Common Issues:
- **Already Registered:** If you receive a message that your number is already registered, you may have an existing account. Try logging in with your credentials or [recover your password](/whatsdiscuss-platform/how-to-guides/authentication/recovering-your-password).
