# Delete Message Template

1. **Open Message Templates Screen:**\
   To begin the process of deleting a message template, access the Message Templates screen by following these steps:
   * Click on the Icon Navigation Card featuring the verified icon on your dashboard.
   * Alternatively, navigate through the drawer menu by selecting **WhatsApp Business Account** and then **Message Templates**.
2. **Click on Delete:**\
   Locate the message template you would like to delete. In the top right corner, click on the **delete icon**.
3. **Confirm Deletion:**\
   A confirmation prompt will appear. Once you confirm your action, your message template will be deleted.

**Note:** Message templates that have already been sent will not be removed from your message history.
