# Creating WhatsApp Profile

To create a new WhatsApp profile for your business, follow these steps:

1. **Open WhatsApp Profiles Screen:**  
   To begin creating a WhatsApp profile, access the WhatsApp profiles screen by following these steps:
    * Click on the **[Navigation Icon](/whatsdiscuss-platform/how-to-guides/dashboard-overview#icon-only-navigation-cards)** featuring the Phone icon on your dashboard.
    * Alternatively, navigate to the **drawer menu**, select **WhatsApp Business Account**, and then click on **WhatsApp Profiles** to access the list of all connected profiles.

2. **Add a New WhatsApp Profile:**  
   Click on the **Add Icon** located at the bottom right of the WhatsApp Profiles screen.

3. **Enter Your WhatsApp Business Profile Display Name:**  
   * In the form, enter your business display name (must be at least 3 characters long).
   * Click on the **Next** button below the display name field.

4. **Enter Phone or Landline Number:**  
   * In the newly visible card, input the phone or landline number that you want to link to your WhatsApp profile.
   * Click on the **Next** button below the phone number field.

5. **Choose Verification Method:**  
   * Select either **SMS** or **Voice Call** to verify your phone number.
   * Click on **Send OTP** and wait a few seconds while Facebook sends an SMS or call to your phone number for verification.

6. **Verify Phone Number:**  
   * Enter the **OTP** you receive via SMS or Voice Call to complete the verification of your phone number.
   * Click on **Verify code**, and if the OTP is correct, your WhatsApp profile will be verified.
