SmartCarePlus gives you the flexibility to remove any medicine from your inventory when it's outdated, discontinued, or no longer relevant. This guide walks you through the steps to delete a medicine securely and permanently.
💊 Step 1: Open the Drawer Menu
From the app’s main screen, tap on the drawer menu to reveal all available navigation options.
📦 Step 2: Navigate to "Medicines"
Head over to the Inventory section and tap on Medicines. This will display a list of all medicines currently added to your system.
🔎 Step 3: Locate the Medicine You Want to Delete
Use the search bar or apply filters (name, brand, manufacturer, form, route, HSN code, etc.) to find the medicine you want to remove.
⚠️ Make sure you’ve selected the correct medicine, as deletion is permanent.
🧾 Step 4: Open Medicine Details
Tap on the tile of the medicine you want to delete. This opens the Medicine Details page showing all associated information.
⚙️ Step 5: Open the Actions Menu
In the top-right corner, tap on the menu icon (three vertical dots) to access additional actions.
🗑️ Step 6: Select "Delete"
From the dropdown options, tap on Delete. This will begin the deletion process for the selected medicine.
⚠️ Step 7: Confirm Deletion
A confirmation dialog will appear. Read the warning carefully — deleting a medicine will remove all its packages, stock entries, and related data.
If you're sure, tap Confirm to proceed.
✔️ Deletion Complete
The medicine has now been deleted from your SmartCarePlus inventory. It will no longer appear in search results, package listings, or stock views.
Please note: Medicine deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure this action is necessary before proceeding. If the medicine is only temporarily inactive, consider disabling it instead of deleting.
