Registering a School
Use registration only when setting up a new school in SmartAcademy V2.
Before you start
Keep these details ready: administrator name, email, WhatsApp number, password, organization name, academic year dates, and main branch details.
Step-by-step guide
- From the login page, open the registration page.
- Enter the administrator details: Full Name, Email Address, WhatsApp Number, and Password.
- Select Verify beside the WhatsApp number and enter the OTP when prompted.
- Continue to Organization Details and enter the organization name.
- Continue to Academic Year Details and enter the year name, start date, and end date.
- Continue to Main Branch Details and enter branch name, creator designation, address, state, district, PIN code, contact details, timezone, and registration details where available.
- Select Create Account.
What SmartAcademy does in the background
The backend creates your organization, first admin user, first academic year, and main branch together. It also records the registration action in audit logs.
Tips
- Verify the WhatsApp number before submitting the final registration step.
- Use the real academic year dates because attendance, fees, transport, daycare, and promotions depend on academic year selection.
- After registration, complete the organization profile and branch schedule.
